Frontend Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to build world-class, responsive, and delightful web interfaces for organizers and attendees on Pokili. You'll partner with designers and backend engineers to build robust client applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using modern React and Next.js.
• Collaborate with product designers to implement clean, pixel-perfect user interfaces and smooth interactions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and scalability across devices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews.
• Integrate RESTful and real-time APIs seamlessly with frontend client state.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of modern CSS, state management, and web performance optimization.
• Experience with Next.js App Router, Tailwind CSS, or component systems.
• Familiarity with ticketing, fintech, or high-traffic consumer web applications.
• Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills in a remote environment.
